FEI World Cup Finals™ Gothenburg
The 2018/2019 indoor show jumping season comes to an end with the World Cup final that will take place in Gothenburg (Sweden) from April 4th to 7th.
After calculating the results of all World Cup steps according to the different geographical areas defined by the Fédération Equestre Internationale, 35 riders are qualified for that finale. The top riders of the indoor season will fight in three demanding events for the prestigious title of "World Cup Champion”.
Among the 35 qualified riders, CWD can count on 12 pilots, which is a very nice recognition of our support of high level riders. Among the candidates for the title are the threatening Belgian riders, : François Mathy Jr, Niels Bruynseels, Pieter Devos and Olivier Philippaerts. Concerning the US, Devin Ryan and Georgina Bloomberg will travel to Sweden and try to bring victory home.
Europe is counting on several riders : Kevin Staut for France, Max Kühner for Austria, Eduardo Alvarez Aznar for Spain, Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski for Poland and Lorenzo De Luca for Italy. Last but not least, Egyptian Abdel Said should not be forgotten, since he is likely to perform during this finale.
